Envisioning the future of biodiversity conservation in Bangladesh

We have previously reported on ongoing efforts to compile a National Red List for Bangladesh. With the Red List now published and online (http://www.iucnredlistbd.org), and the latest status of 1,619 animal species published in seven book volumes, it is time to look to the future. Our friends at IUCN Bangladesh published a wonderful blog post on how young conservationists envision the future of biodiversity conservation in Bangladesh. The conservationists in question were attending an IUCN Red List Training workshop in Dhaka, facilitated for the IUCN by a member of the National Red List project.

Find out here about the next generation’s vision for the future of Bangladesh’s wildlife. With enthusiasm such as this (and experienced first hand at the workshop in Dhaka around a year ago), bring on the future!
