This library brings together National and Regional Red List documents and links from around the globe. The Red Lists may either be downloaded directly from this site or the host organisation’s site, or viewed on the host’s page. Where multiple language versions have been created for a given National or Regional Red List, all versions are included. For ease of usage, the Red List reports have been organised by taxonomy, by geography and by criteria system.
Action Plans are also available in this library as documents and links. These reports detail the conservation measures, specific to the country or region, that are required to recover a species or population. With nearly 200 species Action Plans in the Library, these documents are organised by country only.
General Information related to Regional Red Listing may also be found in the Library. Official documents by IUCN regarding the Red List Categories and Criteria at both the global and regional levels are included along with studies that have tested the IUCN Regional Guidelines.
