Assessment rationale/justification
A cryptic species, not recognised as occurring in Britain until 2016 when a specimen from 1981 was redetermined as this newly-separated species (Liston 2016). Very similar to T. colon, and although only six records are known to date, these are distributed widely from Hampshire to Northumberland, with no obvious habitat features linking the known sites. It feels likely that the species may be widespead at low density but overlooked. More records may come to light if older specimens of colon are re-examined. For the time being, therefore, a status of Data Deficient seems appropriate.
